Grown on clay-and-sand hilltops five miles from the Tyrrhenian coast, this 100% Vermentino draws deep marine-sediment character from Maremma Toscana. Castello di Volpaia, the organic estate above Radda in Chianti, farms the south-facing, Guyot-trained parcel and ferments entirely in stainless steel, then rests the wine on its lees for six months to build texture. It pours bright and saline — citrus and pineapple over a mineral, sea-breeze core, with balanced acidity and a clean, fruit-driven finish. 12.5% ABV.
