CASA LOTOS SOTOL BLANCO

Sotol is often lumped in with mezcal, but it's a distinct Mexican spirit distilled from wild Dasylirion — the desert spoon plant — not agave. Casa Lotos sources from the rocky, arid landscape of Chihuahua, where each plant takes roughly 15 years to mature; the family sustainably harvests without destroying the root system, allowing regrowth. The Blanco is double-distilled in copper stills after fermenting in pine vessels, delivering herbaceous greenery, pine needle, cucumber, and a touch of green peppercorn, with a clean, dry finish.
