CAMUS-BRUCHON SLB REINE JOLY 2020

Lucien Camus-Bruchon handed the domaine to his daughter Nathalie in the early 2000s, one of Savigny-les-Beaune's quieter generational shifts that went largely unnoticed outside Burgundy. Her Reine Joly cuvée blends six parcels across the appellation, where soils alternate between clay-limestone on the flatter ground and sandier, iron-rich terrain on the hillside slopes. Vinification follows traditional Burgundian lines, with aging in barrel before bottling. Expect tart raspberry, wild strawberry, and pressed rose petal on the nose; the palate is medium-bodied and saline with a crunchy red-fruit finish.
