CADE ESTATE WINERY SAUVIGNON BLANC NAPA VALLEY 2024

PlumpJack's sister label, CADE Estate, operates Napa Valley's first organically farmed LEED Gold Certified winery on a CCOF-certified 54-acre Howell Mountain estate at 1,800 feet, where iron-rich volcanic soils and temperature inversions above the fog line extend hang times. The 2024 blend of 89% Sauvignon Blanc with Sauvignon Musqué, Viognier, and Sémillon — drawn from six sites across Pope Valley, Oakville, St. Helena, and Howell Mountain — was fermented across stainless steel, concrete eggs, and French oak using 11 yeast strains, then aged five months sur lies. Honeysuckle, white peach, and tropical fruit on the nose lead to grapefruit, lemon custard, and passion fruit with a creamy, vibrant finish.
