CADE ESTATE WINERY SAUVIGNON BLANC NAPA VALLEY 2024

Eleven yeast strains across three different vessels — stainless steel, concrete eggs, and French oak — is an unusually deliberate fermentation strategy for Sauvignon Blanc, and it's what gives this 2024 its textural range. CADE sources from six sites spanning Pope Valley, Oakville, St. Helena, and their CCOF-certified Howell Mountain estate at 1,800 feet, where iron-rich volcanic soils and temperature inversions above the fog line extend hang time. The blend adds Sauvignon Musqué, Viognier, and Sémillon to the Sauvignon Blanc base, then spends five months sur lies. Honeysuckle, white peach, and passion fruit up front; grapefruit and lemon custard through the mid-palate; creamy, vibrant finish.
