Caballo Loco — Spanish for 'crazy horse' — built its reputation at Valdivieso on a solera-style blending system that deliberately defies vintage dating. No. 19 draws from multiple harvests and vineyards across Chile's Central Valley, layering Bordeaux varieties through fractional blending so the average age of the wine increases with each successive release. The result skips the rigidity of single-vintage bottlings in favor of cumulative complexity. Expect dark fruit, structured tannins, and a mid-palate weight that reflects the blended depth of the solera.
