BOGLE CHARDONNAY 2023

Warren Bogle's parents planted their first vineyard on the Sacramento River Delta in 1968, a bet on Clarksburg before the appellation existed. That delta farmland — peat-rich soils cooled by daily afternoon winds off the San Francisco Bay — remains the backbone of Bogle's Chardonnay today. Fermented with partial oak contact, the 2023 shows green apple, Asian pear, and honeycomb on the nose, with a round, viscous texture mid-palate and a soft, vanilla-laced finish.
