California Cabernet Sauvignon built for late-season ripeness — Bogle's long hang time into autumn is the defining move, concentrating dark fruit without sacrificing the structure needed to age. Sourced from estate vineyards in Clarksburg's Sacramento River Delta, where poorly drained clay and clay loam soils slow vine vigor, plus select parcels in Lodi and the Sierra Foothills, with Bogle holding Lodi Rules sustainable winegrowing certification across its farming operation. The grapes spend 12 months in one-year-old American oak, which adds clove, nutmeg, and burnt caramel without overwhelming the fruit. Dried cherry and plum compote on the nose, dusty tannins through the mid-palate, and a balanced finish.
