BENTON HILLS PINOT NOIR 2022

Pinot Noir in the Columbia Valley is a genuine outlier — the region is far better known for Cabernet and Syrah, making Benton Hills Vineyards' commitment to the variety on arid, southwest-facing slopes in southeastern Washington a deliberate contrarian bet. Those slopes push vines to work harder in dry, continental conditions, concentrating fruit while sustainable farming keeps yields in check. Sixteen months of sur lies aging with light oak integration adds toast and texture without overwhelming the grape. The result: ripe red cherry, strawberry, and earthy undertones, soft tannins, and a clean, fresh finish.
