BARON HERZOG CHARDONNAY 2019

Baron Herzog launched in 1985 under the Herzog family, whose winemaking roots go back to Phillip Herzog, supplier to the Austro-Hungarian court and recipient of a baronial title from Emperor Franz Josef. Fruit is sustainably farmed across California's Central Coast and North Coast AVAs, bringing together cooler-climate sites that preserve natural acidity. Winemaker Barry Henderson keeps this Chardonnay unoaked, letting stainless steel fermentation hold the grape's freshness intact. The result is pear, apple, and chamomile on the nose, a tangy citrus-driven palate, and a clean finish. Certified kosher and mevushal.
