Israel's second-largest winery by volume, Barkan processes over 8,000 tons of grapes annually and sources fruit from Galilee, the Golan Heights, and the Jerusalem mountains. The Classic Malbec draws from Upper Galilee, where elevation and cool nights slow ripening and build structure. Vinified for approachability, it delivers plum, dark cherry, and ripe berry fruit with a plush mid-palate and firm but smooth tannins on the finish.
