Fox Creek Vineyard sits at 1,100 feet on a remote Carmel Valley ridge above Monterey County, where granodiorite-studded clay loam soils and Pacific proximity create a long, cool season that builds acidity alongside ripeness. Dijon clones 667 and 115, planted in 2006 under organic farming, produce compact clusters. The result is tightly wound red fruit, coastal herbs, a saline mid-palate, and fine-grained tannins with a mineral finish.
