Bergström Wines, a family-owned estate in the Willamette Valley, Oregon, is dedicated to biodynamic farming practices. Established in 1999 by John and Josh Bergström, the winery is now run by Josh and his wife Caroline, celebrating 24 years of producing high-quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from their five monopole estate vineyards. The Pinot Noir Silice from Bergström Wines is a standout wine from the Chehalem Mountains AVA. With its deep sandy soils and rolling hillsides, this 18-acre vineyard produces a wine with spicy and powerful notes of gingerbread, cola, and sassafras, complemented by a mild savory and floral lift. The 2018 vintage boasts an aromatic bouquet of sea breeze salinity, Christmas baking spices, and floral notes, with a suave and seamless palate of ripe, sweet, and dark fruit expressions.
