GRGICH HILLS MERLOT 2018

Napa Valley legend Miljenko Mike Grgich, famed for his victory at the 1976 Paris Tasting with Chateau Montelena Chardonnay, partnered with Austin Hills in 1977 to establish Grgich Hills Estate. Focused on quality and sustainability, they craft award-winning Chardonnays alongside other varietals, using estate grapes and natural practices. Now led by Mike s family, Grgich Hills Estate remains committed to Mike s legacy of exceptional wines. This cool climate Merlot comes from our vineyards in southern Napa Valley grown within sight of the San Francisco Bay. We blend in a small amount of Merlot from our warmer upper Napa Valley vineyards to create a complex and balanced wine.
