Quixote Winery, located in the renowned Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, is a 29-acre vineyard that embraces organic and thoughtful farming practices, eschewing the use of pesticides and fertilizers. The estate's unique terroir is the result of ancient volcanic eruptions and the gradual erosion of the arid Vaca Mountains, which have given rise to gravely soils interspersed with cobblestones that promote low-vigor vines and intensely flavored fruit. The diverse ecosystem surrounding the vineyards, teeming with owls, raptors, and tiny lizards, exemplifies the winery's commitment to maintaining a harmonious balance between man and nature while continuously improving the overall health of the vineyard through practical and common-sense approaches.
The Panza Red Wine is a blend of all five of the varietals grown on the Quixote Winery estate in the Stags Leap District. This bright and fruit-forward red wine produces aromatic notes of blackberry, boysenberry, roasted meat, wet stone, and dark berries. Well-balanced and dense with good acidity, this wine has medium tannins, giving way to lengthy flavors of chocolate ganache and red fruit flavors.
