The Saint-Aubin 1er cru En Rémilly 2019 comes from a south-facing plot with deep soils. The average age of the vines is 35 years. The slight reduction does not alter in any way the superb nose with notes of petrol, flint, apple blossom, with a style reminiscent of white wines from the Loire. The palate is balanced with a beautiful frame of acidity, lemony notes, with a hint of bitterness on the finish.

Here the nose is firmly reduced so be sure to give this some air if you're going to crack a bottle young. Otherwise there is good freshness and verve to the sleek, intense and overtly mineral-suffused flavors that possess fine delineation on the balanced, clean and attractively dry finale. In a word, lovely.
