MILLSTONE 100 RYE WHISKY

Millstone’s unusually long 11 day fermentation process allows for malolactic fermentation to occur, which gives the flavor profile more complexity. Then, our 100% rye mash bill is slowly aged for a minimum of 100 months in new American oak. It is the differentiation of our production process of controlling the development of this rye from grain to glass which has earned it the title of “World’s Best Rye” from the World Whiskies Awards. The nose has rich notes of citrus fruit and spices with delicate tones of honey combined with vanilla and oak. The taste is rich fruity, honey sweetness and delicate spicy notes and a long peppery vanilla and oak finish.
