Casanova di Neri's Tenuta Nuova Brunello di Montalcino comes from carefully selected Sangiovese vineyards across Montalcino's diverse hillside sites, where the region's galestro and alberese soils combined with varying altitudes and exposures create the complex terroir that defines exceptional Brunello. Founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri and now operated by his son Giacomo, this estate spans 48 hectares across four distinct vineyard sites chosen for optimal grape quality. This Brunello shows beautiful cherry and plum aromatics with tar and black pepper notes, delivering fresh, focused flavors of cherry fruit accented by spice and tobacco, with structured tannins that create harmony and showcase the traditional Montalcino character.
