Maison Pierre Sparr, an esteemed Alsatian winemaking family since 1680, has passed down their passion for viticulture and winemaking through generations. Pierre Sparr, a pioneer of estate bottling, rebuilt the Domaine after WWII with courage and determination. His sons, René and Charles, expanded the vineyards and developed European markets. Today, the 9th generation remains committed to perpetuating tradition, passion, and emotion in their craft. This golden yellow wine exudes richness and elegance, with aromas of quince jam, hazelnuts, and flint that intensify as the wine aerates. On the palate, a structured and dynamic body intertwines with fine fruit acidity, while a delicate sweetness, characteristic of Alsace Grand Cru wines with their higher minimum sugar content, harmonizes with the acidity, resulting in a long and balanced finish.
