Description of Product
Bruno Clair's Morey-Saint-Denis "En la rue de Vergy" comes from 0.578 hectares of limestone soils with Premeaux limestone and white oolite subsoils on southeast-facing slopes at 320 meters elevation, where this unique Côte d'Or terroir imparts exceptional minerality and complexity to the Chardonnay. The 1996-planted vines benefit from Bruno Clair's meticulous winemaking, fermenting in stainless steel before aging 18 months in oak barrels with minimal new wood influence. This yellow-gold 2020 wine displays intense mineral character both on the nose and palate, offering a wide range of aromas with remarkable length that showcases the distinctive limestone terroir of this rare white wine appellation within Morey-Saint-Denis.
