This Swartland blend of 46% Grenache Noir, 27% Cinsault, and 27% Syrah from dry-farmed bushvines showcases the filigree nature of the 2019 vintage. Translucent crimson with ruby hues, it offers complex aromas of raspberries, red cherries, fresh anise, underpinned by proteas and roses. The palate is ample yet fresh, with bright acidity, crunchy tannins, and a distinctive stony, petrichor-like minerality. A briny olive note emerges toward the lengthy, firm-tannin finish, reflecting the wine s granite, ironstone, and clay terroir.
