CUVAISON CHARDONNAY 2020

Owned since 1979 by the Schmidheiny family, Swiss vintners with a long history, Cuvaison focuses on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Schmidheinys acquired prized land in Los Carneros and meticulously replanted vineyards to maximize quality. Under winemaker Steve Rogstad since 2002, Cuvaison built a modern winery for small-batch production and creates acclaimed estate wines, honoring tradition while setting a foundation for the future. This dedication to quality was recognized in 2012 with a Top 100 Wineries of the World award. Produced in a vintage that brought us intensely concentrated fruit, the 2020 Chardonnay is lush and bright, inviting you in with warm notes of baked apple, pear and honeysuckle. Expansive across the palate with hints of lemon chiffon and apricot, the 2020 vintage enjoys a rich and unctuous nish of warm vanilla and brioche.
