BRUNO CLAIR CHAMBOLLE-MUSIGNY LES VEROILLES 2019

Cask sample. Vibrant cherry red. There s a touch of reduction at first, giving a touch of rubber, but as that blows of, the pure dark-red fruits are singing and there s a hint of Chambolle s archetypal floral perfume. Beautifully scented. This seems to have all the best traits of 2019: glorious fruit, ripe, fresh and open. Tannins are polished and still giving a firm structure for the fruit. Fresh even with the ripeness of fruit. Long, juicy and moreish finish. You could approach this in relative youth but it should still age well. (JH)
