LANTIERI BRUT ROSE NV

This Franciacorta Brut Rosé is a blend of 75% Pinot Nero and 25% Chardonnay. The grapes are gently pressed, and the musts ferment in a combination of stainless steel tanks and small oak casks at controlled temperatures. The wines then go through bâtonnage, spending extended time on their lees while being regularly stirred. After blending, the wine is bottled for secondary fermentation, aging on the lees for a minimum of 30 months. This extended sur lie aging contributes wonderful autolytic richness (think rich brioche notes) and complexity. The finished wine displays a pale pink hue and enticing aromas of red fruits mingled with yeasty notes. On the palate, it is dry and savory yet fresh, with a fine harmonious character, evident body, and lingering finish. An excellent apéritif, it also pairs beautifully with cured meats, medium cheeses, savory starters, seafood mains, and fruit-based desserts.
