Domaine de Beaurenard, a family-run estate for eight generations, crafts biodynamic wines that capture the essence of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Their dedication to sustainable viticulture extends over 80 acres, producing certified biodynamic wines since 2010. This historic region, famed for its pebble-strewn vineyards, is known for complex reds. This Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a blend of all 13 permissible grapes, predominantly Grenache. Grenache s signature spice and red fruit mingle with the peppery notes of Syrah and the earthy whispers of Mourvèdre. Hand-harvested grapes and meticulous sorting ensure quality, while co-fermentation and extended vatting contribute to a supple texture. Aged in a combination of conical vats, foudres, and barrels for a year, this wine offers a complex dance of flavors with a persistent finish. Expect a hint of garrigue , the characteristic herbal fragrance of the Southern Rhône, to linger on the palate.
