JAKOB SCHNEIDER RIESLING NIEDERHAUSER HERMANNSHOHLE 2018 AUS

Wine Advocate: 92 points - From perfectly healthy grapes, the 2018 Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Riesling Auslese offers a very clear and aromatic bouquet of white peach, candied grapefruits, mandarin and crushed stones. Picked at 102° and 118° Oechsle (in mid-October and around the 10th of November), this is a round and generous, very elegant and balanced Auslese with a piquant finish. The 2018 is a very well made picture-book wine that lacks a bit of mystery at this stage. Tasted in July 2019.
