Teperberg Winery, Israel s first family-owned winery in the modern era, was established by Avraham Teperberg in 1870 in Jerusalem s Old City. The winery, now managed by the Teperberg family for generations, recently relocated to a new 5-acre facility in the Judean Mountains, a region known for its rich history and ideal wine-growing conditions. Undergoing a significant quality revolution, Teperberg has become one of Israel s most modern wineries, investing in advanced production, storage, and distribution systems, while carefully selecting top-quality growing regions. The winery currently produces and markets over 5 million bottles of wine annually, both domestically and internationally. A delicious, rich and smooth wine, with well-focused currant, black cherry and chocolate flavors that are supported by spicy oak nuances in the background.
