BEAUCANON CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2020

In 1978 Jacques de Connink left Bordeaux for the Napa Valley in search of a new winemaking adventure. His family has had over 260 years of winemaking in the Canon-Fronsac region. He purchased land in St Helena in 1980, and Beaucanon Estate was born. His son Louis joined him, and they were soon producing 30,000 cases of premium Napa wines. In 1994 after his father’s death, Louis moved the estate to its present location, the Longwood Ranch. He now farms 225 acres, which will be Certified Organic with the 2010 Vintage, and produces 10,000 cases of elegant, balanced, estate wines. This single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is highly concentrated and youthful, created in the Bordeaux style rather than the typical California offering. Big, bold aromas of blackberries, red apple and cassis burst from your glass followed by flavors of red currant, black plum, and raspberry preserve.
