FERRARI-CARANO FUME BLANC 2023

Founded in 1981 by Don and Rhonda Carano, Ferrari-Carano emerged from the couple's passion for fine wines discovered while developing wine lists for their Eldorado Hotel in Reno. Their journey began with a 60-acre parcel in Alexander Valley, expanding into 24 vineyards across Sonoma County. The terroir of these vineyards benefits from the region's diverse microclimates and well-draining soils, allowing for optimal ripening conditions. Since 2015, Ferrari-Carano has maintained California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance certification, demonstrating their commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable farming practices throughout their vineyards.

Ferrari-Carano Fumé Blanc delivers refreshing aromas and flavors of grapefruit, lemongrass, lychee, pear, and orange blossom, further enhanced by notes of peach and subtle minerality. The cool, stainless steel tank fermentation provides bright acidity and crisp freshness, while neutral French oak barrel aging adds complexity, body, and depth without overpowering the wine's vibrant fruit character.
