Tasted from bottle, the 2020 Marsannay Les Vaudenelles reveals aromas of sweet cherries, raspberries and peonies, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and lively palate. Unusually concentrated and structured by the standards of this charming, immediate cuvée, it will reward a little patience.

An appealingly fresh nose is comprised by notes of various red berries and earth where the latter component is also present on the delicious and vibrant middle weight flavors that display only touches of rusticity and austerity. This is sufficiently structured to reward up to a decade of cellaring.
