Feudo Montoni, a historic winery since 1469, is currently led by Fabio Sireci, the third generation of his family to oversee the estate. The Sireci family has long been dedicated to producing high-quality wines with minimal human intervention, using organic farming methods, artisanal cellar practices, and renewable energy sources. The winery produces a range of 100% indigenous varietals, including Nero d'Avola, Perricone, and Grillo, and is particularly known for its pure expression of Nero d'Avola from pre-phylloxera vineyards. All vineyard operations are done by hand, and the winery's commitment to natural practices and high-altitude terroir has earned its wines a reputation as among the finest in the region.
The Terre di Elio presents a delicate pale ruby hue, inviting you to explore its subtle and refined character. The nose is a masterful blend of herbal and floral notes, with hints of wild catmint, wormwood, and laurel, complemented by scents of rose petals and lily. This elegant wine has been crafted to showcase its timid texture, with minimal contact with wood, allowing its natural charm to shine. On the palate, it reveals a harmonious balance of flavors, with a refined and vertical aromatic profile, culminating in a refreshing and satisfying finish. With its unique "DNA" of Feudo Montoni, this wine is a true gem, perfect for savoring on its own or pairing with a variety of dishes.
