Winemakers from father to son: near the town of Auxerre, Chablis is halfway between Dijon and Paris. The Vocoret family has been cultivating the vines for four generations. A vineyard located on the clay-limestone hillsides, which now has some fifty hectares where are carefully picked the most famous Chablis' wines. In the cellar, the wine making has remained traditional and the bottling is made solely on the property.
Fôrets is on the western side of the Serein river on a south-facing hill of high-quality Kimmeridgian soils just a few miles southwest of the town of Chablis. This site is known for elegant, steely expressions of Chardonnay. Aged in demi-muids, 1/3 new.
