A more floral-inflected and slightly cooler nose is complemented by notes of citrus, green apple and a whiff of spice. Like the Maltroie, the medium weight flavors are not especially dense though they also offer an attractive texture along with just a bit more volume on the focused, sneaky long and lemon rind-tinged finish.

Flinty, smoky with good fruit intensity and a really lovely vigour and purpose to the fruit. Linear and defined yet with good fruit concentration. Should improve also. (AC)
