Rey Campero Cuishe + Jabali is a mezcal produced by Vincente Sanchez Parada in the town of Candelaria Yegole, Oaxaca, Mexico. The agaves used in this mezcal are crushed using a tahona, a traditional stone wheel. The crushed agaves are then fermented with filtered river water in vats made of pine and sabino wood. After fermentation, the liquid is double distilled in copper alembic stills. The specific batch, DS001-CTS, was aged for 15 months in glass containers before being bottled and released for distribution.
