Here, Guillaume Tari crafts wines that showcase the region's potential, particularly the Mourvèdre grape.
Domaine de la Bégude's Bandol Rouge offers a captivating glimpse into this unique terroir. The wine boasts a deep purple color with ruby highlights, hinting at the sunny richness within. The nose opens with a burst of red and black fruits, accented by intriguing notes of peppermint, violet, and blackcurrant flower. The palate is smooth and expressive, echoing the fruit notes with hints of spice. This elegant wine is enjoyable now, but promises excellent aging potential for those seeking a complex and rewarding experience.

Oak spices, ice-cold peppermint and blackberries. The wine started very oaky, but relaxed more and more over three days, the purity of the fruit pulling forward ahead of the oak. Wonderful striations of dried thyme embedded into the dark succulence of the fruit. Masses of ultra-fine tannins, almost invisibly meshing the wine together. (TC)
