The Yamazaki Whisky is Suntory's flagship single malt whisky, from Japan’s first and oldest malt distillery. With a range of options from Yamazaki Distillery’s Reserve to 12, 18, and 25 years old, all of these prized whiskies contain carefully blended components aged in American, Spanish, and Japanese Mizunara oak.

This whisky exhibits a deep amber color, hinting at its rich character. The nose is complex and inviting, offering a bouquet of dried fruits with prominent notes of raisin and apricot. These are complemented by the comforting aroma of cafe au lait, while the distinctive presence of Mizunara (Japanese oak) adds an intriguing woody complexity. On the palate, the whisky unfolds with a burst of dark berry flavors, dominated by blackberry and the sweet-tart essence of strawberry jam. These fruity notes are beautifully balanced by the bittersweet depth of dark chocolate. The finish is impressively long, delivering a pleasant spicy kick that evolves into a smooth, lingering warmth.
