Brugal 1888 is a double-aged sipping rum with a deep amber color and red undertones. The nose offers dried fruits, raisins, dates, and woody spices with a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, it's smooth and well-rounded, balancing toffee and vanilla sweetness with peach, cocoa, and cloves. The finish is long and elegant, ending with a subtle honey note. This rum showcases Brugal's 135 years of expertise in a refined, complex spirit.

Born in Spain, our founder Don Andres Brugal was ambitious and adventurous, drawn to the possibilities of the Dominican Republic to realise his full potential. There he found all the right elements to make superior rum, and saw the potential to connect the different parts of the rum-making process in his own unique way to unlock a new deeper, smoother rum with the power to bring people together. In 1888 Brugal was born and from that day forward, we have continued to bring out the best of our cask aged Dominican rum.
