Schramsberg Vineyards, a family-owned sparkling wine estate in Napa Valley, was established in 1965 by Jack and Jamie Davies on a property originally founded in 1862. As pioneers in California's sparkling wine industry, they focused on producing high-quality, handcrafted wines using the méthode champenoise style. Today, under the leadership of their son Hugh Davies, Schramsberg continues to create a diverse range of premium sparkling wines, sourcing grapes from cool-climate vineyards across Northern California. The winery's commitment to quality is evident in its limited production, use of barrel fermentation, and innovative reserve wine aging program. Schramsberg's historic caves, dating from the 1800s, provide the ideal environment for aging up to 2.7 million bottles for two to seven years.

Mirabelle Brut Rosé, a multi-vintage sparkling wine from Schramsberg, is a testament to the Davies family's commitment to mastering the art of blending. Crafted from a carefully selected combination of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes sourced from premier cool-climate vineyards in California's North Coast, this wine represents the best of both varietals. The 31st bottling of Mirabelle Brut Rosé features 78% of the 2019 vintage, complemented by 22% of select base wines from previous vintages, adding depth and complexity to the final blend. The grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed, ensuring the highest quality juice for this balanced and refreshing rosé. The Pinot Noir lots, some of which are fermented with skin contact, contribute a vibrant berry fruit character and body, while the Chardonnay lots provide length and zest to the palate. The wine then undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and ages for approximately two years before release, resulting in a sparkling wine with fresh, elegant, and toasty aromas that lead to lively and delicious fruit flavors. Mirabelle Brut Rosé is not only delightful on its own but also pairs exceptionally well with a wide range of dishes, from grilled salmon and country fried chicken to Caprese salad and classic Hawaiian pizza.

This wine is rich, lush, with aromas of strawberry, red plum, raspberry cream, orange-blossom honey on the nose. On the palate, find a creamy mousse and notes of tangerine, vanilla buttercream, strawberry rhubarb compote, Kaffir lime cream and crystalized ginger.

This luscious and generous pink offers seductive flavors of raspberry and cherry layered with crème brûlée and roasted hazelnut before finishing on a decadent note.

The NV Mirabelle Brut Rose has a pale cherry-pink color and scents of green melon, citrus blossoms and creamy undertones with stony wafts. The palate is rounded and floral with fragrant flavors, energetic mousse and a long, flavorful finish.
