Elena Walch's Pinot Grigio is a distinctive wine from the Alto Adige DOC region in Italy, showcasing the unique terroir of its vineyards. The grapes are grown on steep slopes with calcareous soils mixed with clay, sand, and porphyric elements at altitudes ranging from 250 to 600 meters above sea level. The 2023 vintage, despite initial challenges, benefited from ideal late-season conditions, resulting in well-balanced grapes with optimal ripeness and acidity. The wine is produced through careful handling, with fermentation and aging occurring in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This 100% Pinot Grigio has 13% alcohol content and presents a light straw yellow color with aromas of ripe pears, white pepper, and sage. On the palate, it offers mineral-salty richness and crisp acidity, creating a wine with remarkable structure and character.

Elegant, with an appealing, creamy nappe to the texture as it carries notes of ripe pear, peach skin, blood orange peel, green almond and orchard blossoms. A tangy streak of salinity and lively acidity focus and refresh the finely woven flavors and nicely spicy finish.
