This exciting Champagne house is lead by winemaker Juliette Alips, a protégé of prestigious producers like Louis Roederer. Alips sources grapes from exceptional Grand Cru vineyards, showcasing the finest terroirs of Champagne.

This Blanc de Blancs Champagne, crafted entirely from Chardonnay grapes, showcases the brilliance of Côte des Blancs' Grand Cru vineyards. The poor, chalky soils of Mesnil-sur-Oger contribute a distinctive mineral backbone, evident in the wine's Chablis-like hints of seashell and flint alongside bright citrus zest. Aged for over four years on lees, it offers a delightful balance of richness and vibrancy. Expect aromas of lemon zest, white flowers, and a hint of minerality reminiscent of Chablis. The palate is beautifully textured with a touch of cream, leading to a lingering, elegant finish that exemplifies the aging potential of this Grand Cru.

From Mesnil sur Oger, the 2017 Champagne Côte Grand Cru pours a bright straw hue and is aromatic with notes of yellow apple and chalky stones. The palate is very long, with a silky, chalk texture as well as notes of lemon balm. it goes on for ages on the palate, with a linear drive and a fantastic finish. It’s linear and bright and will benefit from time in the cellar. Drink 2025-2045. 4.5 grams per liter dosage.

A vivacious version, with fine texture, showing notes of poached pear, Marcona almond, cherry blossoms, grapefruit pith and a streak of chalky minerality, expanding gracefully on the palate.

The 2017 Champagne Cote, from Mesnil sur Oger and Oger, is bright and finely cut, with lovely citrus, floral and almond character. This is a strict, austere style, and yet all the elements are very nicely balanced. I would prefer to drink the 2017 over the next handful of years. Dosage is 4.5 grams per liter.
